01 — PROJECT OVERVIEW

02 — PROJECT OVERVIEW

Power that doesn’t depend on the grid.

LPUR pairs two 500MW gas-fired generation hubs with a dedicated 330kV/132kV transmission ring, connecting Lagos’s Eastern and Western industrial corridors from Lekki-Epe to Agbara-Ikeja. The project is designed to solve one problem directly: industrial and commercial off-takers in Lagos need power that doesn’t depend on the national grid’s reliability.

04 — HOW IT’S STRUCTURED

How It’s Structured

Hub Alpha (Eastern) serves the Lekki-Epe corridor. Hub Beta (Western) serves the Agbara-Ikeja corridor. Both connect into a bidirectional transmission ring so either hub can carry load if the other is offline — the reliability that grid-dependent industrial users don’t currently have. The ring interfaces with TCN’s national grid at five points, giving off-takers a private supply backed by grid interconnection, not isolated from it.

05 — WHERE THE PROJECT STANDS

Where the Project Stands

LPUR has completed its Pre-FEED technical studies and site selection process, with dual hub sites confirmed. The project is engaged with the Lagos State Ministry of Energy & Mineral Resources on regulatory and corridor approvals, and is in active discussions with OEM partners on generation equipment. AIIP is currently raising Development Capital to fund FEED and advance the project to Financial Close.
